Former AFL player and social media star Daniel Gorringe has revealed he will suit up in the upcoming Legends Game that has returned after a six-year hiatus.
Gorringe will be led by All-Stars coach Shane Crawford, and will line up alongside captain Nick Riewoldt and Hawthorn star Cyril Rioli.
The Victorian side has named Tim Watson as their coach, while Luke Hodge (skipper) and Gary Ablett Jnr have been the first called out.
He posted an inspirational yet oddly comedic video on his Dan Does Footy Instagram page, confirming his football return.

Gorringe was initially drafted by Gold Coast with Pick 10 in the 2010 National Draft from Norwood in the SANFL, and played 22 games across five seasons before he was traded to Carlton.
The 33-year-old spent two seasons at IKON Park for a further four outings before retiring from the top flight.
Since, he has reached the upper echelon in a different industry, taking the social media sphere by storm as one of the most followed Australian sports athletes.
The iconic event is returning to the AFL calendar on Thursday, August 28, at Marvel Stadium.
This year marks 30 years since the passing of one of the game's greats from prostate cancer - E.J. Whitten - a true legend of Australian football, whom the game was played in honour of for multiple years.
Featuring past greats and fan favourites in a State of Origin clash between Victoria and the All Stars, the match celebrates the best of Australian Rules Football while supporting a great cause.
The fan-focused football event aims to raise much-needed awareness and funds for prostate cancer through the Australian Prostate Centre.
