AFL media sensation and All-Stars match-winner Dan Gorringe has revealed he has been slapped with a $7,500 fine from the league following his antics during Thursday's Legends Game.
The return of the marquee clash, following a six-year hiatus, saw over 31,000 flock to Marvel Stadium, while 2.3 million people tuned in on television to see the Stars defeat Victoria by eight points.
Gorringe played the villain on the night, often engaging in melees and riling up the crowd, while at one point, cleaning up comedian and Vics forward Dave Hughes.
However, the former Sun and Blue took to his podcast to unveil the trouble he's in from the AFL.
"Oh my God, I didn't tell you, I've been sent an email from legal from the AFL," he said on his Dan Does Footy podcast after the game.

He then read out the email.
"Dear Mr Gorringe, the AFL integrity unit and legal department writes formally to notify you of a breach of the AFL player and official code of conduct arising from your on-field behaviour during the Legends Game last night.
"Upon review of broadcast footage and independent reports, it's been determined that you engaged in 13 separate instances of making an obscene gesture, the finger, directed towards players, officials and/or spectators.
"This conduct constitutes a clear violation of clause 3.2A: Conduct unbecoming or likely to bring the game into disrepute. Clause 5.1C: Display of offensive gestures during an official AFL match or sanctioned events.

"In accordance to the AFL regulation, the following sanctions have been imposed: A financial penalty of $7500 (GST inclusive), payable within 14 business days. A formal warning: any further breaches of similar nature may result in increased financial penalties and/or suspension from AFL-sanctioned activities.
"Please note that continued failure to adhere to these standards of conduct expected by the AFL undermines the integrity of the game and the reputation of the league.
"Payment details attached. If you wish to appeal the decision, you may do so by submitting a written formal request to the AFL tribunal within five business days.
"We trust this serves as a reminder of the obligations under the AFL rules and regulations.

"Can I pay in these (he makes a gesture)? I'm not paying s***. Absolutely not paying s***. Thirteen? I was throwing out a lot. Seven-and-a-half grand. That seems heavy ... Baz (Bailey Smith) got 1000 for one.
"To our defence, it was the DDF (Dan Does Footy) crew, that's our thing... we give each other the finger."
