West Perth draft prospects Jacob Farrow and Sam Swadling will make their WAFL debuts this weekend after earning promotions at the Falcons following strong U18s National Championships showings.

Both Farrow and Swadling were among the Black Ducks' best performers across the squad's four-game carnival, which netted Marc Webb's team the one win.

Farrow, an exciting medium-sized defender, was influential as a rebounding option who also got a look through the middle of the field.

He had a standout game against the Allies earlier this month at Marvel Stadium, recording 29 disposals, nine marks, six intercept possessions and 803 metres gained in a narrow loss.

Swadling was also a good performer in the black and gold, coming into the National Championships after a dominant run at the WAFL Colts level.

He had averaged 35.0 disposals, 4.3 tackles and 4.3 marks per game as a bona fide inside ball winner to earn himself external attention ahead of the national window.

Farrow found a similar vein of form in the opening six rounds of the season, with his carnival bolstering his stocks as a first-round selection hopeful.

The pair will suit up for the Falcons' 14 clash with West Coast's reserves, meaning the draft hopefuls will go head-to-head with a host of AFL-listed players.

The two teams will clash at HIF Health Insurance Oval on Saturday at 6:10 pm local time, with West Perth looking to close the gap on the top five.

The debuts for Farrow and Swadling come after their WA U18s captain Fred Rodriguez - who took out the state side's MVP title - made his league debut in Round 1 of the season.

With the National Championships concluded for Western Australia, prospects will hope to get a look at the senior state league level in the lead-up to the combine and National Draft across October and November.
