The AFL has locked in the Grand Final Parade route for 2025, with the competing teams continuing to venture to the MCG on land three years on from the controversial Yarra River edition from 2022.

The 2025 route remains as the traditional path that was reinstated in 2023, with the teams beginning at Melbourne Park Oval before embarking on the parade at approximately 10:30am.

The players and coaches will make their way through Melbourne and Olympic Park via Birrarung Marr and over the William Barak Bridge. The parade will then head into the MCG Yarra Park Precinct, finishing outside the ground where both competing teams and the premiership cup will be presented on the main stage.
