Adelaide Crows youngster Josh Worrell is likely to be sanctioned by the club after being pulled over by police for using his mobile phone whilst driving and blowing a 0.056 blood alcohol reading over the weekend.
Worrell is understood to have been driving home from a teammate's house in the early hours of Sunday morning when he was stopped by police.
The 19-year-old is currently on a probationary driver's license and has been issued an expiation notice.
Adelaide's head of football Adam Kelly expressed his disappointment in the emerging teenager.
“Josh is disappointed and rightfully so as this behaviour is clearly a breach of our standards and those of the community,” Kelly said, per the club website.
Worrell is yet to play a senior game for the Crows.
