Former Geelong star Gary Ablett can do it all.
The 54-year-old, who kicked 1030 goals in 248 career games, took three wickets for the Torquay Fourth XI on Saturday.
Ablett claimed 3-4 from seven overs with his right arm swing bowling.
Torquay scored 4-295 and then dismissed Waurn Ponds for just 27.
“His first five overs were maidens,” one of Ablett’s teammates, David Stacey said.
“I think a few of the boys were a little starstruck when they faced him.
“It’s a big thrill even for us older guys. I’m 47 and I still get excited to see him around the club."
The match was Ablett's third outing for Torquay.
