Sydney forward Tom Papley's frustrating injury run continued during Sunday's match at the SCG against Fremantle, with the club confirming a new hamstring problem arose during the contest.
Papley missed between Rounds 2 and 15 with a cracked heel, and returned to take on Port Adelaide a fortnight ago.
To make matters worse, key forward Joel Amartey also clutched at his hamstring late in the win after sitting out last week due to awareness in the muscle.
"(Papley) got subbed out with his hamstring so we need to work out the extent of that, how bad that is, and the same with Amartey late in the game," Swans coach Dean Cox said.
"We'll see throughout the next couple of days how that settles, get some scans, and the results will come from that.
"You want your best players playing as often as possible and for them to get a run at it."
The pair of injuries comes amid a wretched run of poor health at the Swans in 2025, which is in stark contrast to last year.

Logan McDonald hasn't played a game this season, while Errol Gulden, Callum Mills, Taylor Adams, Robbie Fox and Papley have all missed large chunks.
Dane Rampe is the latest to be sidelined with a calf injury, and now Amartey could also miss more football.
The Swans' stoic victory over the Dockers does keep them in the hunt for a spot in the finals, sitting three games outside the top eight with seven matches to go.
But upcoming clashes against St Kilda and North Melbourne could fuel the resurgence, whilst games against Essendon (Round 21) and West Coast (Round 24) are deemed as winnable contests.
