Gold Coast key forward Ben King could look to receive some scrutiny following a bump on GWS defender Lachie Whitfield during Sunday's contest at ENGIE Stadium.

During the first term, King can be seen bracing for impact as the football, and Whitfield, begin to make contact.

The Coleman Medal fancy knocked over the dashing Giant with a heavy hip and shoulder, which prompted immediate assessment of the head.

Whitfield was taken down into the rooms and didn't return to the field, and was replaced by super sub Jake Stringer, who made an immediate impact when entering the ground.

Going for King is the fact that Geelong's Tom Stewart wasn't penalised for his rough bump on Suns captain Noah Anderson two weeks ago.

After a hot start by Gold Coast, they were unable to withstand the resurgent Giants outfit, who kicked eight out of the last 11 goals of the game to run out seven-point winners.
