Much has been spoken about the influence Brisbane father-son duo Will and Levi Ashcroft have had on the Queensland club.
Both highly-touted talents throughout their junior days that culminated in top-five draft selections, and ultimately joining the Lions, where their father, Marcus, won three premierships and played 318 games.
But Jaspa Fletcher, son of Adrian, who played 107 games for the Lions and Bears, has seemingly flown under the radar, largely due to the noise around the club's superb list, containing Lachie Neale, Hugh McCluggage, Cam Rayner, Harris Andrews, Charlie Cameron and previously Joe Daniher.
Fletcher will notch up game 50 on Sunday against North Melbourne in Hobart, and has been a revelation since joining Brisbane with Pick 12 in 2022.
"It's gone by real quick," Fletcher said.
"When I first heard that I was going to debut, it was obviously one of the best moments of my life.
"From then on, I just tried to play every game as a bit of a bonus โฆ and I just thought if I could try and play a final, it would be pretty cool.
"Now to look back on a premiership and 49 games is something pretty special."
Since making his debut in Round 13, 2023, Fletcher hasn't missed a game, which has included two finals series and two grand finals appearances.
During his short time in the AFL, the 21-year-old has already played, and excelled, in multiple positions under Chris Fagan.
Fletcher played predominantly through the midfield throughout his junior career, but found himself playing on the wing, across half-forward, and more recently, across half-back.
But he knows that the on-ball brigade is a tough one to crack, and is "pretty happy" playing any role.
"I've been enjoying it," Fletcher said of his positional switch in 2025.
"Darcy Wilmot and Dayne Zorko, they're pretty easy to learn off, and then you've got Harris Andrews, Ryan Lester and Jack Payne around you, so it's made life easier for me.
"They get around me each and every week, and I'm just confident I can go out there and play my role.
"The half-back, the wing and half-forward are probably all similar roles. They're all connected out on the ground.
"If I get to run out there in the 23 each week, in front of home fans or away, I'm going to be pretty happy. Wherever it is on the field, I'm just happy to take my part and play my role."
Fletcher has been averaging a career-high 18.8 disposals, 6.3 marks, 2.0 tackles, 2.5 inside 50s, 2.6 rebound 50s, 5.4 intercept possessions and 3.3 score involvements this year.
But despite his form, the former Pick 12 understands the competition for spots, and ACL victims Keidean Coleman and Tom Doedee are staking their claims for an AFL recall.
"It's always exciting for the club when you've got that much depth," Fletcher said.
"I'm very happy for `Kiddy' (Coleman) that he got through unscathed last week.
"We love it when we have that competitiveness among each other."
