Collingwood small forward Bobby Hill has penned a four-year extension to lock himself away at the AIA Centre until the end of 2030.
Hill has quickly become an important cog in Craig McRae's side, and received interest from Western Australian clubs despite being contracted for another 18 months.
The 25-year-old got the taste of premiership success in 2023, and was the Norm Smith medallist with a standout performance, slotting four goals and proving to be the difference maker in the narrow victory.
And that feeling is what continues to spur Hill on.
"I'm excited to sign on and stoked to be hanging around at the Pies. It feels like home here," Hill said.
"My family loves it, especially my son, he loves it, running around like he owns the place.
"Collingwood is my future, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my career here.
"Getting the taste of premiership success in 2023, that's what drives me to want to play more footy here at the Pies in front of our big fan base.
"From now to 2030, I'd love to achieve more premiership success, but I really just want to keep playing consistent footy and making more memories to cherish for the rest of my life."
GM of List and Strategy Justin Leppitsch acknowledged how valuable Hill is on the field.
"Bobby is a much-loved member of our Club and it's fantastic to have him extend until at least the end of 2030," Leppitsch said.
"Since arriving at the Club, Bobby has become an integral part of our forward line and continuously works to grow and develop his own game.
"At only 25, Bobby has a lot of football ahead of him, and we look forward to seeing many more magical moments that will excite our fans."
Hill was originally drafted by GWS in 2018, taken with Pick 24 from WAFL club Perth and from Northam in the western state.
After 41 games in four seasons, the goal-sneak opted for a change of scenery, moving to Victoria and landing at the Pies for essentially a future second-round pick.
Since the move, Hill has featured 54 times in the black and white, for a return of 74 goals, including back-to-back seasons with 30 or more majors.
His start to 2025 hasn't lit the world alight, but with only 11 goals from seven games, there is plenty of improvement.
He joins Josh Daicos, Dan Houston and Harry Perryman as Collingwood players contracted until 2030, while Nick Daicos and Isaac Quaynor are committed until 2029.
The club is also looking into extending ruckman Darcy Cameron's deal beyond 2026, with rivals reportedly circling the in-form tall.
Collingwood currently sits atop the AFL ladder with only one blemish from seven games, and they will face Geelong on Saturday night in the hope of continuing their form.
