Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley has revealed that injured duo Jamie Elliott and Ben Reid's season's are over.
Speaking on Triple M's Sunday Rub, Buckley lamented the loss of the injured pair, while declaring that star midfielder Adam Treloar and utility Tyson Goldsack are a chance to return.
“No we won’t get 'Billy' (Elliott) back, and we won’t get Reidy back,” Buckley said.
“Ads (Treloar) is probably in Goldy’s shoes, there is still a fair bit of water to go under the bridge.”
Elliott has failed to play a senior game this season after being hampered with hamstring injuries, and Reid re-injured his troublesome calf in the VFL yesterday.
Treloar has resumed training with the main group following his recovery from hamstring surgery, while Goldsack suffered a back complaint that has postponed his return from an ACL tear at the start of the year.
