The 2022 NAB AFL U18s Boys All-Australian Team has been confirmed, with 23 future prospects getting the nod in this year's side.

The team was announced on Monday, with Larke Medal winner Will Ashcroft selected captain and Vic Metro's Jason Davenport selected coach.

As expected, Victoria dominated selection with 12 players from the Vic Metro and Vic Country sides, including bottom-aged backman Harley Reid.

Reid and Queensland Allies player, Jed Walter will both be projected for selection in the 2023 NAB AFL Draft.

AFL Talent Ambassador and Chairman for selection, Kevin Sheehan congratulated all players selected, stating that it is an "honour" for those selected in the side.

“Selection in the 2022 NAB AFL National Championships U18 Boys All-Australian Team is a significant honour and all players selected are thoroughly deserving of their place in the team," Sheehan said.

“The players selected in the 2022 NAB AFL National Championships U18 Boys All-Australian Team represent the best young boys footballers in the country and highlight the quality of talent coming through the national pathway programs."
