Overall

Rayner is considered the man most likely to be selected with pick No.1 in this year's National Draft.

His powerful, strong body and penetrating kick, coupled with his contested ball work and pace has drawn parallels with Richmond star, Dustin Martin.

He has a great ability to stand up in a tackle and find a teammate and also has a knack of finding a way to have an impact on the match regardless what position he is playing.

He was used primarily as a forward during the recent Under-18 Championships, where he showed his lethal ability inside 50. He is a difficult match-up up forward; he has clean hands above his head and his pace and ability to hit the contest hard will appeal to recruiters.

His Under-18 Championship highlights included a five goal haul against South Australia and 23 disposals and and six clearances against Western Australia.
