The AFL has released the full fixture for Round 1 next season.
Carlton and Richmond will once again kick off the season on the Thursday, followed by what could be Travis Cloke's first game against his old side, with a Friday night blockbuster between the Bulldogs and the Magpies.
Fierce rivals Essendon and Hawthorn will clash on Saturday night, giving the Bombers' returning players the perfect stage to return to the AFL.
