Tom Lynch

Despite losing their first game of the year to their cross-town rivals the Brisbane Lions, Tom Lynch was fantastic for the Gold Coast Suns

He kept his team in it, booting five goals, taking eight  marks and finishing with 15 disposals.

Lachie Neale

The Dockers are still win-less this season, but that is not the fault of Lachie Neale, who was spectacular on the weekend.

Neale picked up 35 disposals, kicked a goal, and was good around the ground also, laying six tackles and taking five marks.

Nat Fyfe

It seems odd to have two players from a losing 0-4 team in this weeks’, but alas, Nat Fyfe was almost the best player all round.

The reigning Brownlow Medalist has drawn comparisons to James Hird, and not just because of his long hair. Four goals, 27 touches, seven marks and seven tackles was a brilliant performance in a losing side.

Dan Hannebery

The Swans’ loss to the Crows was one of the most exciting games of the year and Dan Hannebery was fantastic in a losing side.

One goal, 38 disposals and five tackles around the ground is a typical Hannebery performance – a high volume of touches and plenty of dirty work, which is why he is loved in Sydney.

Sam Mitchell

The Hawks just hung on against a hugely impressive Saints side on the weekend, and they may not have if it wasn’t for Sam Mitchell’s 44 touches.

The former captain was sensational against once again in what was Hawthorn’s third win of the year.

Mitchell is now averaging an enormous league high 36.5 disposals per game, three more than his closest rival and amazingly, at 33 years of age he is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon. He is also averaging 6.8 score involvements per game, 5.3 marks, 5.5 tackles, 3.8 rebound 50s and 3.6 inside 50s.
