The four-personal panel to vote on the 2023 Anzac Day Medal has been revealed, with former Collingwood and Richmond forward Brian Taylor set to chair the process.

A mixture of former AFLW/AFL talent and media representatives will cast votes of 3, 2, 1, with the player seen best-afield by each voter earning three votes.

Taylor will be joined by former Brisbane, St Kilda and Hawthorn player Kate McCarthy on the voting panel, along with Herald Sun reporter Jay Clark and Australian Associated Press journalist Anna Harrington.

Last year's votes tally saw Magpies forward Jack Ginnivan earn the Anzac Day Medal, polling 11 votes after booting five goals in the 11-point win over Essendon to edge out Darcy Parish and Scott Pendlebury for the honour.

Ginnivan recorded three Brownlow votes for the performance, while Jordan De Goey (two votes) and Parish (one vote) also polled.

Both Pendlebury and Parish join Ginnivan in being past winners of the award that will feature in Tuesday's match, along with Collingwood veteran Steele Sidebottom.

Pendlebury is tied with Essendon great James Hird for the most Anzac Day Medals with three each.

Tuesday's match will commence at 3:20pm (AEST) at the MCG, with the Anzac Day Medal winner to be revealed shortly after the final siren.
