After eight seasons at the Giants, Adam Tomlinson will explore his free agency options.

Tomlinson has played 140 games since debuting for the Giants in round one, 2012, which was the Giants' inaugural season.

“I’ve loved my time at the GIANTS and I’d like to thank the club for the opportunities they’ve given me,” Tomlinson told the club's website.

“Being a part of the club from day one is something I’m extremely proud of and no doubt I’ll look back on this period of my career fondly in the years to come.”

Giants General Manager of Football Wayne Campbell had some kinds words to say about Tomlinson, and praised him for all he has done for the team over the years.

“Adam is a much loved member of the club and the relationships he’s built with players, staff and members will continue for years to come," Campbell said.

“His versatility on the field has been a huge asset to the side and his willingness to put others first both on and off the field is a characteristic that will stand him in good stead for the future.

“Despite pulling on a different jumper next year, Adam and his family will always be a much-loved part of the GIANTS family.”
