First-year Tiger Noah Cumberland has ruptured his ACL at training on Thursday, the club announced.

It rules the 19-year old out for the rest of the 2020 season.

โ€œWeโ€™re all incredibly disappointed for Noah, he returned to the Club in great condition, and was training very well before his injury occurred,โ€ Richmondโ€™s General Manager of Football Performance Tim Livingstone told richmondfc.com.au.

โ€œNoah is a promising young player, and we believe he has a bright future in the AFL. We will all support him on his road to recovery.โ€

Cumberland was drafted to Richmond with pick 43 in last year's draft.
