Premiership Tiger Nick Vlastuin has been handed a sanction for a rough conduct charge from Thursday's win over Port Adelaide.

The incident in question occurred in the second quarter of the two-goal victory, involving Vlastiun and Power forward Todd Marshall.

The Match Review Officer saw the dangerous tackle as careless conduct, low impact and high contact, resulting in a $3000 fine.

Vlastuin is able to accept a reduced $2000 fine with an early guilty plea or can choose to challenge the charge.

Having avoided suspension, Vlastuin is able to face Carlton in Round 14 next Thursday night at the MCG.

The rough conduct charge on Vlastuin was the only offence of note by the MRO for Thursday night's match, with any incidents from Friday's clash between Essendon and Carlton to be released on Saturday evening.
