Could Giants star Zac Williams be pried out of Western Sydney?

According to a report by The Herald Sun, Victorian clubs believe that the out-of-contract defender is the most likely Giant to "fall out".

Williams enters restricted free agency at the end of the season and is set for a big pay increase following a breakout 2019 campaign.

He averaged 23.7 disposals, 5.1 marks and 4.2 rebound 50s per game last season to finish fifth in the club’s best and fairest.

But after signing the likes of Lachie Whitfield, Toby Greene, Josh Kelly and Stephen Coniglio to lucrative deals, there may not be enough cash leftover for Williams.

It was reported in February that Williams rebuffed a long-term offer from the Giants.

The 25-year old's manager Anthony McConville told The Herald Sun that Williams is solely focused on his footy at the moment.

“Zac is pretty much keen to let his footy do the talking for most of the year before we know where things are heading," McConville told The Herald Sun.

“Zac is happy at the Giants and as to what all contracts will look like down the track, we just don’t know where the goalposts are.”

Reigning Coleman medallist Jeremy Cameron also comes comes out of contract at season's end, as too Jeremy Finlayson, Jye Caldwell and Jackson Hately.
