Premiership winning captain Easton Wood has had his 2016 medallion stolen from his Albert Park property, reports Seven News.

Along with his prized medal, a premiership watch, a World War I service identification tag and other treasured items were reported to be missing.

“Port Philip Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after an AFL premiership medal was stolen during a burglary at an Albert Park address,” police said.

“The burglary occurred sometime between 12am on 14 April and 5.30pm on 26 April.”

Wood was not at home during the intrusion and has spent time during the league suspension with Family at his hometown of Camperdown, Victoria.

Officials investigating the burglary have identified the items taken from Woods' property.

Engravings can be found on the World War I tag with ‘Sayers SA 1830’ on the front and ‘Nugget’ on the back.

The Tissot watch has 'AFL 2016 Premiers' engraved on the back and is kept in its original box.
