Sydney have reportedly reached agreements with midfielder Zak Jones and forward Sam Reid in a huge win for the Swans.

AFL Media's Nick Bowen reported the news on Monday night, and suggested the pair had signed long-term deals to remain in Sydney, with both contracts possibly four-year deals.

Both Reid and Jones were heavily targeted by Victorian sides, with Collingwood reportedly a big fan of the 25-year-old forward.

With brother Ben an integral part of Collingwood's list, the Pies were keen to add Reid to their forward line set-up to compliment Darcy Moore, although it looks like the Swans have won his signature.

Jones was also reportedly hunted by Melbourne to play alongside his brother and Demons co-captain Nathan, but has decided to stay at Sydney.

The pair are crucial to Sydney's setup, and were two main players off contract at the end of the season, alongside 30-year-old ruckman Kurt Tippett.

With the Swans signing both Jones and Reid, it seems as though Tippett's days at Sydney are surely numbered.
