Fremantle midfielder Lachie Neale has reportedly told Dockers coach Ross Lyon he wants to be traded to Brisbane during the upcoming trade period.

According to AFL.com.au, Neale has a five-year, $4 million offer on the table from the Lions, and Triple M reporter Tom Browne understands Neale is ready to accept that offer.

“Fremante’s Lachie Neale linked closely to a five-year deal to go to Brisbane, it’s been talked about that he will request a trade, that he might request the trade to Fremantle after their best and fairest,” Browne told the Hot Breakfast on Wednesday morning.

“I can tell you Neale went to Ross Lyon and Steve Rosich at Fremantle over the weekend and told them that he is going to the Brisbane Lions.

“He’s already requested that trade, and it’s got flow-on effects.”

If Neale moves to Brisbane, it will likely allow Jesse Hogan to move to Fremantle, and then Steven May could land at the Demons.
