Oisin Mullin has officially joined Geelong for the 2023 season as a category B rookie, a year after signing his original deal with the Cats.
Mullin inked a deal back in 2021 to join Geelong, but opted to remain in Ireland for the 2022 season, instead playing for Mayo in the Gaelic Athletic Association.
Geelong respected the 22-year-old's decision to remain in Ireland back in January and followed his progress at Mayo, but are now keen to welcome the young Irishman down under.

In a club statement, Head of List Management Andrew Mackie said the club was "thrilled" to welcome Mullin.
โAs a Club we appreciate the magnitude of moving overseas and understood Oisin's reasons for remaining in Ireland and not joining us for this season," Mackie said.
โWe are thrilled he will now join the Cats for season 2023, he is a gifted talent, however most importantly a quality person who will be a great addition to our playing squad.
โOisin has had another impressive season with Mayo and we are looking forward to welcoming him and his partner Jess to the Club and to Geelong.โ
Mullin becomes the third Irishman on Geelong's list, joining Zach Tuohy and Mark O'Connor.
