Richmond star Dustin Martin has completed his incredible season with back-to-back Jack Dyer Medals.
Martin won his second Richmond best and fairest nine votes ahead of All-Australian captain Alex Rance, with Kane Lambert coming in third.
The 26-year-old's best and fairest victory completes a stunning season, in which Martin has also won the AFL Coaches Association Player of the Year, the AFLPA MVP, the Brownlow Medal, the Norm Smith Medal and the premiership.
The night also capped off a brilliant rise for Kane Lambert.
Lambert was overlooked in three national drafts before being selected as a mature aged recruit by the Tigers. Just three years on, he has become a key player for the side and finished third in the best and fairest count.
Following the count, skipper Trent Cotchin also revealed he would have walked away from the captaincy if season 2017 had gone pear shaped.
"I remember sitting with my wife after last year and telling her, 'I'll give this captaincy thing one more year, and if it doesn't go well, we bomb out again or don't get it right, well then we'll see if someone else can do the job'," Cotchin said.
"It's funny how fickle life can be. In some ways, 2016 (when the club missed the finals and finished 13th) may have been a blessing dressed up as a nightmare in disguise."
