Adelaide captain Taylor Walker and defender Daniel Talia will both miss Sunday's clash with the Eagles at Domain Stadium after failing to prove their fitness.
Walker will miss due to a toe injury, while Talia has not recovered from the ankle injury he sustained against the Swans last Friday night.
Reilly O'Brien and Jonathon Beech have replaced the pair in Adelaide's 25, with their final 22-man playing squad to be determined at 5pm on Friday.
โBoth Taylor and Daniel were close to playing, but didnโt quite come up in time,โ Adelaide's General Manager of High Performance Matt Hassย told afc.com.au.
โTaylorโs toe flared up a bit on the track this week and Danielโs movement has been restricted somewhat by that ankle.
โWe werenโt comfortable risking them for this week, but weโre confident theyโll be fine for our first final.โ
