Two-time premiership Kangaroo David King has revealed his top eight predictions for 2020.

King forecasts West Coast claiming the minor premiership, with GWS, Richmond and Collingwood rounding out his top four.

Arguably the most surprising selection in King's top eight is Port Adelaide, who he predicts will finish seventh.

Port replace Essendon as his only change from last year's finalists.

King praised the youth on Ken Hinley's side, particularly Connor Rozee, and is a big fan of their senior core.

Rozee is coming off a strong debut campaign where he led all rookies in goals (29) and was runner-up for the Rising Star award to Carlton's Sam Walsh.

“I reckon there will be a surprise. I like their kids,” he told SEN Breakfast.

“I really think their kids did a lot of heavy lifting last year.

“I just think that their senior core players will get better again this year and Travis Boak had a fantastic year last year.

“There were reasons why, in my opinion, they didn’t have the year they wanted last year, but I’m a fan of what they’ve done.

“They were 0-2 in games decided by under 10 points, that corrects, you get a bit of luck.

“I’m a massive fan of Connor Rozee. I like what they’ve done.”
