Geelong defender Lachie Henderson has been withdrawn from the Cats' side that will face Fremantle at Simonds Stadium on Sunday.

Carlton will be without Zac Fisher and David Cuningham against Richmond on Sunday, after the pair were withdrawn from the Blues' 25-man squad.

Henderson has a groin issue and will be managed on Sunday, with defender Jackson Thurlow replacing him in the 25-man squad.

Fisher (achilles) and Cuningham (adductor) have both failed to prove their fitness ahead of Sunday's clash, with Liam Sumner and Simon White being drafted into the squad.

Both Geelong and Carlton will finalise their 22-man squads on Friday at 5pm.
