Charlie Cameron, Lachie Weller, Josh Schache and Brandon Matera have all found new homes in a frantic final few minutes of the 2017 trade period.

After drawn out negotiations, Brisbane has secured Adelaide speedster, Charlie Cameron.

The Crows have traded Cameron in exchange for Brisbane's pick No.12.

Cameron played 73 games for the Crows, including 24 this year, before requesting a trade back home to Brisbane at the end of this season.

Gold Coast forward Brandon Matera has found his way back to Western Australia, joining the Fremantle Dockers in exchange for their 2018 future round three selection.

Matera, like Cameron and several players this trade period also requested a trade home, after 124 goals in 101 games with the Suns. However, he managed managed just 10 matches in 2017.

Fremantle midfielder Lachie Weller has gotten his wish, and will return to the Gold Coast next season.

The Suns had to pay a high price for the 21-year-old however, and will part with pick two.
As well as the midfielder, the Suns will also pick up selection 41 in the upcoming draft.

Gold Coast’s List and Strategy Manager Scott Clayton told the club’s website they were thrilled to add Weller to their list.

"We are absolutely thrilled to secure Lachie Weller,” he told goldcoastfc.com.au.

"Lachie will play a major role for our club going forward and will have an immediate impact on our team.

"Having spent a number of years in our talent academy we know him and what he can do incredibly well.

"It's great to be in a position to welcome a Gold Coast local back to our football club.”

Josh Schache has finally returned home.

After signing a two-year deal earlier this season, Schache has returned to Victoria and has joined the Western Bulldogs.

The Dogs have given up selections 25 and 40 for the 20-year-old.
