According to SEN's Time On host Sam McClure, the Blues won't play a Friday night game in 2020.
Following on from zero Friday night games in 2019, it'll be the second straight season in which Carlton doesn't kick off the weekend of footy on a Friday.
โWe can reveal to you tonight that Carlton will not be playing in any Friday night games (in 2020),โ McClure toldย SENโs Time On.
โThey will have the season-opener, which will be an away game for the Blues against the Tigers; the reigning premiers on the Thursday night.
โThey may have one other Thursday night game but as far as the marquee time slots โฆ they will have no Friday night games."
The Blues had a tough start to the year this past season, but following the addition of David Teague, won six of their last 11 games to finish on seven wins for the year.
The full 2020 fixture will be released on Thursday.
