Giants snare No.2 draft pick

Greater Western Sydney have reportedly snared the No.2 draft pick from the Brisbane Lions.

The Age reports the Lions and the Giants have completed a trade of severalย draft picks on Thursday, that handed this year’s preliminary finalists the second selection in the National Draft, while also ensuring the Lions have two picks inside the first round.

Brisbane has received picks 3 and 16 from the Giants.

In exchange, the Giants have received picks 2, 31, 51 and 60.

The Lions now have a total of four picks in the top 21.

  1. of course, watch them get no.1 next. how will they do it. get carlton’s pick 5 with pick 2 give both to essendon for pick 1. victorian clubs sook GWS get these picks and they hand them to them personally. hypocrits!

  2. How is the AFL allowing this, you should not be able to trade away a priority pick, its there because you need it, and these clowns get a womens team, Brisbane couldn’t get themselves out of a wet paper bag.
