Geelong's home ground, Kardinia Park, has undergone its fifth naming rights change since 1999.

The club announced on Monday that local health fund provider GMHBA, will take over the naming rights of the stadium from 2018.

After being known as simply Kardinia Park until 1999, the ground became known as Shell Stadium until 2001.

The naming rights were then sold to Baytec, before Skilled took over the sponsorship of the stadium from 2002 until 2011.

For the past six years, it has been known as Simonds Stadium, while from 2018, Kardinia Park will be known as GMHBA Stadium.
