The Swans have locked away one of the competition's most exciting young talents, with Callum Mills committing to the club until the end of the 2018 season.

AFL.com.au has reported that Mills joined the Swans on a three-year deal, rather than the traditional two-year contract for draftees.

Mills has been one of the most impressive youngsters in the competition so far this season, playing every match and averaging 17 disposals per game.

His disposal efficiency is 77.5 per cent and he is averaging 4.7 score involvements and three tackles per game.
