Geelong youngster Jackson Thurlow has signed a three-year contract extension after an impressive start to the 2015 season.

Thurlow was due to come our of contract at the end of this season, but AFL.com.au understands that he has recommitted to the club until the end of 2018.

The 21-year-old was the Cats’ first pick in the 2012 National Draft at No. 16 overall.

Thurlow has cemented his spot in Geelong’s side this year playing every game since round three, after playing 10 games in his first two years at the Cats.
