The Herald Sun has revealed just what the 34 banned past and present Essendon players can and can't do during their 12-month suspension.

Any breach of the code will result in โ€œa new period of ineligibility equal in length to the original period of ineligibility shall be added to the end of the original period of ineligibilityโ€.

Restrictions and approved behaviour for the banned Essendon 34 in season 2016:

CAN

Attend AFL and other football games

Talk to players and coaches from their teams on a social level

Train away from their clubs with other banned players

Work in the media at AFL games

CANโ€™T

Play football at any organised level

Enter club rooms at grounds on match day

Enter their clubโ€™s premises

Train under club-devised programs
