2014 Brownlow medallist and West Coast veteran Matthew Priddis has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the Eagles until at least the end of the 2018 season.
The deal will see Priddis go into his 13th season at the Eagles, after joining the club in 2005 in the Rookie Draft.
Priddis told the club's website he was excited to sign the extension so early in the year, and is looking forward to continue helping the playing list grow.
“We were always making sure, first and foremost, that the body was feeling good,” Priddis said.
“Mentally I’m wanting to improve, I am always looking to get better, and I am really pleased to get the contract done at this time of the year.
“There is some good chemistry building in the group; Mitch (Sam Mitchell) has brought a lot to this playing group, so I’m learning a lot from him. Also we have got some young guys coming through who are playing great footy – Dom Sheed and Liam Duggan.
“We have a good blend of experience and youth coming through and I am really enjoying that.”
The 32-year-old has played 230 games for West Coast in his career and has played every match this season, and is averaging 26 disposals and 4.64 clearances a game.
