Adelaide's Brodie Smith has booted a Goal of the Year contender in Sunday's 34-point loss to the Western Bulldogs in Ballarat.

It was a dirty day at the office for the Crows, but Smith's fourth-quarter goal from the boundary gave fans something to cheer about.

The running defender pounced on a Bulldogs turnover in the back pocket, evading a Lachie Hunter tackle before snapping a banana goal while tucked out on the boundary.

Is Smith's effort worthy of Goal of the Year?
