Adelaide captain Taylor Walker is in doubt for the Crows' round one clash against Greater Western Sydney due to a hamstring injury.

Walker left the field early during the side's final JLT Series match against Brisbane on the weekend due to a tight hamstring.

The forward said his availability for round one rests solely in the hands of the club medicos.

“I will be honest, I will be guided by the PPT (physical performance team) because I have never had a hamstring (injury),” Walker told Triple M on Tuesday morning.

“I’m backing the doctors in to make a clear and good decision.

“I left the ground with a bit of tightness in the hammy and pulled up really well, so good signs early."

Walker kicked three goals against the Lions before the injury, which sidelined him for the entire last quarter.
