St Kilda is looking to beef up their midfield stocks and are showing strong interest in GWS youngster Jye Caldwell, per The Herald Sun.

While the young Giant has attracted interest from multiple Victorian clubs, the Saints look to be leading the race for his signature.

The Giants are optimistic in keeping Caldwell despite the doubt surrounding his future after being dropped late in the season.

Caldwell averaged 12.7 disposals and almost four tackles a game from nine matches this season and remains without a contract for 2021.

The Giants are also looking to lock-down midfielder Jackson Hately for the future, while star Jeremy Cameron's future remains up in the air.

It was reported yesterday that the Giants upped their offer for Caldwell.
