West Coast midfielder Andrew Gaff is reportedly being chased by at least two Victorian clubs, according to Channel Seven's Mark Stevens.

St Kilda and Essendon are understood to be two of the clubs interested in acquiring the 24-year old's services.

A contract extension was expected to be finalised earlier this year, however, negotiations between Gaff and the club are reportedly dragging on, with several rival clubs now circling the out-of-contract Melbourne boy.

Stevens also said that should Gaff agree to an extension at the Eagles, it would only be a short term deal.

He has played 122 games with the Eagles since making his debut in 2011.
