Richmond have been dealt an injury blow ahead of their trip to Queensland with several of their stars facing stints on the sidelines.

Trent Cotchin, Toby Nankervis and Dion Prestia finished the game on the bench with suspected leg injuries.

Cotchin told Channel Seven after the game that he suffered a slight hamstring injury, while Toby Nankervis and Dion Prestia both injured their ankles.

Forward Tom Lynch also suffered a suspected broken hand in the first quarter but managed to play out the rest of the game and kick the last two goals for the Tigers as they came away with a 27-point win over Melbourne.

The four premiership players will join David Astbury on the sidelines, who injured his knee last week and will be out for at least five weeks.

The club is also set to announce Bachar Houli and Shane Edwards will not travel to the Queensland hub as they want to remain in Melbourne with their heavily pregnant wives.
