With Ben Brown reportedly having played his final game for North Melbourne, many are already set to pursue his services for the 2021 season and beyond.
Brown endured a lacklustre 2020 season with the Kangaroos, booting just the eight goals from nine games.
In his three seasons prior, Brown managed to kick over 60 majors in each year and was touted as one of the league's best forward targets in the league.
Now, the 27-year-old finds himself departing Arden Street, with rival clubs set to chase the Kangaroos forward.
Garry Lyon, Anthony Hudson and Gerard Whateley have all named their best suitor for Brown as he enters uncharted waters for the upcoming off-season.
“I’m thinking that Brisbane would be one I’m looking at as a potential (suitor for Brown),” Lyon said on AFL Nation.
“Eric Hipwood is getting better and Dan McStay is one of those blokes that when he plays to his potential he’s as good as most but that only happens once every eight weeks so I think Brisbane will have a look at it."
Hudson suggested Brown may remain in Victoria, with Collingwood a potential destination.
“They (probably) wouldn’t have the money but Collingwood would probably like him,” he said.
Whateley joined the discussion, suggesting Essendon would be a great option if star forward Joe Daniher was to leave Windy Hill.
