Sydney co-captain Jarrad McVeigh appears likely to miss this week's clash with Fremantle at Domain Stadium due to a groin injury.
The injury kept McVeigh out of last week's win over Carlton and while it is considered a minor setback, the Swans are unlikely to risk the 31-year-old.
McVeigh was restricted to jogging laps at training earlier today at training away from the main group.
