Young defender Zak Jones has re-signed with Sydney until the end of 2017.

The Swans have locked in their second young gun in a week, after Dane Rampe signed a contract extension earlier this week.

“The club dealt with it really well and so did my manager,” Jones told SwansTV.

“The process was quick, I think it took about a week, which was good as all I wanted to do was focus on my year ahead and get back to playing some senior football.”

The younger brother of Melbourne captain Nathan Jones, played four games for the Swans last season after being taken as a first round draft pick in the 2013 National Draft.
