The Gold Coast Suns are dealing with a social media issue that has seen "unauthorised" posts go live on the club's Meta account.

Perplexing images and videos on the Suns' Facebook page were posted late on Monday night and throughout Tuesday morning, with several posts - including footage of construction and factory work - still live on the account at the time of writing.

The Suns have stated the issues are related to their Meta account, however the club's Instagram page does not to have been impacted.

In a short statement on Tuesday, Gold Coast revealed the club is investigating the matter in the hope of finding a resolution.

"The club is aware of the current issues with its Meta account and is working to rectify the situation," a club statement read.

"Please note that any post made at this time is unauthorised and we apologise for any inconvenience, harm or offence caused.

"The club will keep fans up to date."

Other sections of the Suns' Facebook account - which has over 115,000 followers - have not been altered.

The club has been able to post on other Meta channels, including Instagram.

Gold Coast are just days out from their opening game of the pre-season when they host both Brisbane and Collingwood at Carrara for a three-club practice match on Thursday.

The Suns are also scheduled to face Sydney for the Community Series next week in the lead-up to their Opening Round game against Essendon on Saturday, March 8.
