The Gold Coast Suns have cancelled their training session on Monday to aid Police in the search for missing five-year-old girl, Jocelyn.

The young girl went missing from her home in Herang on Sunday night and is yet to be found, despite searching from 150 Police and SES volunteers.

Suns' vice-captain David Swallow approached his teammates on Monday about helping search for Jocelyn.

The club then got in contact with Police, who then assigned players an area to search.

Every fit player has been granted a day of leave from training to help with the search.

Jocelyn is 115cm tall, Caucasian, with blue eyes and blonde shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing blue denim shorts and a pink T-shirt with a ladybird motif.

Queensland Police ask anyone with information to ring 131 564. Ring 000 to provide life-threatening information about this incident.
