West Coast star Elliot Yeo has signed a contract extension with the West Coast Eagles.

The 2018 premiership star was et to come out of contract at the end of the 2023 season but has added a further year to his deal.

His contract will now see him an Eagle until at least the end of the 2024 season.

Per Callum Twomey from AFL.com.au, Yeo was joined by Dockers star Michael Walters in extending on his current deal with the Fremantle jet locking in his future.

Walters was set to be a free agent at the end of the season but has signed on until the end of 2023 taking home off the table.

The free agency pool continues to shrink heading into the new season with Brisbane's Daniel Rich also taking his name off the market inking a new one-year deal yesterday.

Rich also penned a one-year extension locking him away until the end of next season.

Fremantle will now turn their attention to retaining David Mundy and Alex Pearce who are free agents this year while the Eagles have Shannon Hurn, Josh Kennedy, Nic Naitanui and Luke Shuey among their upcoming free agents.
