Carlton's Adam Cerra will miss Thursday night's clash against the Western Bulldogs after being placed on the AFL’s Health and Safety Protocols.

Cerra is the second Blue to be ruled out, with Jack Martin also entering the AFL’s Health and Safety Protocols last Friday after Carlton's win over Richmond.

Carlton Head of Football Brad Lloyd said the Cerra news was "unfortunate", but that the club remained focused on their Round 2 match.

“While it’s unfortunate for Adam that he is unavailable for tomorrow night, we are glad he is feeling okay – after last Friday we obviously knew it was a reality that further players might have been impacted so we simply adapt and move forward, as we have all week,” Lloyd said.

Carlton coach Michael Voss will also be unavailable after he entered the protocols last week. The 46-year-old will continue to work remotely as he isolates.

The Blues have confirmed that all other players returned negative tests on Wednesday morning.
