St Kilda's VFL side has announced seven signings for their 2026 side, headed by father-son player Elwood Peckett.
The Saints officially broke away from the Sandringham Zebras tag, and will begin playing under their own name from next season.
The change will mean St Kilda join 15 other clubs that currently have their own club tied to them in the VFL, with Sandringham supporting the Saints since 2009.
Club legend Brendon Goddard will take the reins of the side in 2026, and will be assisted by 2010 Norm Smith Medal winner Lenny Hayes and Grand Final teammate Farren Ray, with Hayes serving as the midfield coach. Ray returns to the club as VFL Development Coach, having previously held an assistant coaching role with St Kilda's inaugural AFLW program.
Decorated VAFA coach Simon Williams, who led Old Brighton to premiership glory in 2013 and Caufield to the same destiny in 2019, will be Goddard's senior assistant, while Damian Carroll has also moved over from Sandringham to St Kilda with Goddard as the forwards coach.
Peckett, who is the son of 252-gamer Justin, was one of a host of names joining the reserves side.

Peckett was overlooked in last year's draft, but spent the year at the Zebras. He signed with the Mt Eliza Football Netball Club as his local side, along with the Saints VFL.
Bailey McKenzie, Billy Richardson, Ned Maginness and Joey Campigli have all made the switch ahead of 2026.
Jack Behnk joined from Casey Demons in the VFL, as Billy Galimberti departed from GWS' reserves program to venture to the Saints.
