Greater Western Sydney star Dylan Shiel has re-committed to the club for the next two years.

The Giants’ impressive early season form has convinced the young gun, who is in career best form, to re-sign until the end of the 2017 season.

The 22-year-old joins teammates Jeremy Cameron, Jon Patton, Phil Davis, Devon Smith, Adam Tomlinson and Will Hoskin-Elliott in recently re-signing with the league’s newest franchise.

Shiel said he is excited about what the future will bring at the club.

“I believe we’re heading in the right direction and are on our way to achieving the ultimate success in the coming years,” Shiel said.

“Having been here since the very start, I’ve seen the club grow both on and off the field and I’m enjoying life in Sydney.”

The deal is a big win for the Giants, with several clubs interested in luring the midfielder back home to Victoria.
